Understand how your team uses its research workspace

Tetra’s activity dashboard shows research work across projects, sessions, tags, snippets, insights, and materials. Use a selected time frame to review changes in activity and see the work moving from collection into analysis and sharing.

These are workspace activity measures. They help with research operations and reporting, but a higher count of sessions or snippets does not by itself demonstrate better research or greater product impact.

Review the stages of research activity

Projects and sessions

Track project and session activity over time to understand the volume of research entering the workspace.

Analysis and outputs

Review tags, snippets, insights, materials, and highlight reels as the team organizes and communicates its research.

Sharing and reporting

Review sharing activity and export chart data to CSV when you need to prepare a report outside Tetra.

Review research activity over a chosen period

The activity dashboard shows how many projects and tags were created over time, with a reporting-period control and an export action. Use these counts to prepare an operations review or investigate changes in research activity. They describe work recorded in the workspace; they do not measure the quality of the research or customer behavior.

Fictional Harbor workspace activity. Counts describe research work, not research quality or customer outcomes.

Prepare a research operations update

  1. Select a reporting time frame and review activity across collection, analysis, and sharing.
  2. Use changes in the charts as prompts for discussion. For example, ask whether a growing collection of sessions needs more time allocated to synthesis.
  3. Export the relevant data and combine it with study context and qualitative outcomes. Explain what the measures do and do not tell the team.

Questions before you start

Is this customer product-usage analytics?
No. This dashboard describes activity in the Tetra research workspace. It is not a replacement for analytics showing how customers use your product.
How does the audit log differ from activity charts?
Activity charts summarize research work over time. The audit log lets authorized administrators inspect recorded actions, including who performed them.
