Show the interview moments behind a conclusion

A highlight reel combines selected snippets into one video. Use it to bring a research finding into a product discussion without asking everyone to watch the full set of interviews.

Tetra keeps snippets connected to their source sessions and lets you assemble them into an export. Choose the moments that support the finding, order them deliberately, and provide the interpretation alongside the video.

Build a reel from reviewed evidence

Select relevant snippets

Start with saved excerpts from your interviews. Include enough context for viewers to understand what the participant means.

Arrange the sequence

Choose the order of clips to explain the finding clearly. Keep contrasting experiences visible when they change the interpretation.

Export the video

Create a downloadable highlight reel for a presentation or discussion. Share links to source insights separately when viewers need more context.

Review the evidence before exporting the reel

An insight’s snippets section shows the number of excerpts and their combined duration alongside playback, selection, and Export Highlight Reel controls. Review the excerpts and their order before exporting so the sequence supports the finding you want to communicate. A useful sequence might move from a reported problem to a workaround and its impact.

Prepare a reel for a stakeholder discussion

  1. Write down the finding and identify which interview moments actually support it. Remove clips that are interesting but unrelated.
  2. Select and order the snippets. Check the start and end of each clip so the excerpt preserves the meaning of the response.
  3. Generate the reel, review the exported video, and present it with your study context, limitations, and recommended next steps.

Questions before you start

Does a reel replace the original recordings?
No. It is an output assembled from selected snippets. Keep the sessions and associated findings in your repository for deeper review.
Can I share an insight instead of exporting a video?
Yes. Share links let you share selected research material, including insights. A highlight reel is useful when you need a separate video file.
